Enjoy brunch and Mimosas and learn more about what we have accomplished in our first year.

Our guest speaker Bruce Johnson is the Chief Executive Officer of Nicasa.  Nicasa supplies behavior health services to Lake County residents.  Johnson has served our country and community through a multitude of leadership service positions and continues to be a champion for the underprivileged in our community.

Our mission at Helping Women Period Chicago is to support places like Nicasa by supplying feminine hygiene products.  With your help, we will provide an often overlooked need of all women, but especially those who struggle to afford these products.

HELPING CHICAGO, PERIOD.

Hosted by Lo-Rez Brewing

Friday, January 26 at 5 PM - 10 PM

On January 26th, come out to Lo Rez Brewery & Taproom for Helping Chicago, Period - a collaborative & musical benefit to raise funds for Chicagoans unable to afford feminine hygiene products this winter season.

From 5:00 - 10:00 PM, DJs (lineup below) will perform one hour sets to help raise money for Helping Women Period-Chicago - a Chicago-based non-profit organization, providing feminine hygiene products to homeless and low-income women throughout the greater Chicago area. For each draft beer sold, Lo Rez will donate $1 to our featured non profit.

*DJ Lineup*
5:00 - 6:00 PM: Amanda Alexandria Flores and Pepe Yisus Delucio, Pilsen Wax Collective
6:00 - 7:00 PM: Betty Heredia, Lumpen Radio

Our inaugural breakfast on September 22nd, 2016 was a huge success!  We raised $8,500 dollars, enough to supply over 240 women with the feminine hygiene products they need for a whole year!
